Capone-N-Noreaga

‘L.A L.A, bit city of dreams, but everything in L.A ain’t always as it seems’ were the lyrics that rang out over and over again as the hip hop duo Capone-N-Noreaga made their way to the stage, singing their famous track. Capone and Norega have been working together on and off since the mid 90s, and it’s evident from their on stage chemistry that they have had extensive experience working together.
They played a great selection of their tracks from over the years, revisiting their earlier hits before heading to their newer material. They were great performers, bouncing their energy off of each other, letting the other improvise, and creating some exciting new material right before our eyes. They shouted out to us in the audience time and time again to join in with their lyrics and dance along, and everyone was getting really involved in their tracks and performance.
When they played Talk To Me Big Time, their popular single from back in 2009, they asked if anyone knew the words, and pulled a guy up on stage to rap with them. It was cool to see that unfold in front of an audience, and also great to see that the duo love to please their audience at their live shows.
