Great night at a lovely eclectic venue.
Intimate gig in great surroundings.
I loved the pared down set up that allowed you to clearly hear the musical skills of Greg Kane, no frills, just great playing.
As for Pat Kane, the clarity of his voice remains unaltered, if anything it became even stronger throughout the set, showing his talent to song-write around his voice as it develops over the years.
Beauty for my ears. Fiona x
This was an amazing gig, mainly to do with Pat’s incredible voice, Gregs mastering of the piano, and the banter. The venue was fantastic, intimate and the sound was really good. The song choices were spot-on although I did really want to hear Violently which they didn’t unfortunately play. I even got a photo with Pat afterwards and he signed my book. Very happy all round and cannot wait to see Them again.
Had a great night!!
Lads were very funny....Cracking jokes etc.
Awesome tunes from yesteryear.
All in all a Very entertaining night was had by all.
If you didn’t enjoy it then you shouldn’t have been there!
Wouldn’t hesitate to go and see them perform again!
Also the Venice was great! Good beer, reasonably priced and a great selection for everyone.
Great show, with plenty memorable songs and good banter! Pat's voice is the same as it was when I listened to Hue & Cry back in the 80s and I loved their rendition of 'Violently' - I was singing it all the way home...
We haven't been to this venue before and will definitely be coming back. Great place and Hue and Cry were fantastic, The overall sound was exceptional. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back.
As usual vocals and sound perfect. 1st time at Jacs ideal for an intimate gig and drinks very reasonable. Definitely use this venue again. 3rd time seeing Hue and Cry and always give value and quality
