Hard rock guitar fans know that The Michael Schenker Group is the best guitar music on the music scene. Sure, the band has had problems and members have come and gone, but Michael Schenker has managed to keep the heart of the group together for a couple of decades.
I saw the band live at The Coach House in San Juan Capistrano, California, in February, 2014. That's a great venue with great acoustics and this band's non-stop, irreplaceable guitar and vocal talent shined even brighter than the house lights. The Michael Schenker Group played to the sold out crowd, starting with “Attack of the Mad Axeman” and it was guitar heaven for a full two hours until their last song, "Into the Arena Armed and Ready".
Each and every minute was an epic performance all by itself. It wasn't just me who had a good time. Everywhere I looked, the fans were going crazy. The band really knew how to keep the fans going too, shouting out and pointing at us and really keeping the energy high and the crowd going. It was an awesome show!
