The Dirty Loops Concert at Irving Plaza in New York City was one of the greatest nights of my life. I was a VIP, so I was able to meet them and get exclusive, signed merchandise. I am being completely honest when I say that Jonah, Hendrik, and Aron are the sweetest, most humble people that you will ever meet. They were surprised when we told them that we had traveled for over two hours from Connecticut to come to their show, but we told them that it was worth it, and they were so happy and thankful. Since I was VIP, I was able to get a front row spot, and it was one of the greatest experiences I have ever had. They connected with the audience completely, and it was very personal and meaningful. Jonah was able to complete almost all of the amazing runs on his album LIVE! It was very impressive, and every time he did one, the crowd went crazy. Hendriks skills on the bass were like none other, and Arons performance on the drums was one of the greatest I have ever seen. If you are thinking about seeing Dirty Loops live, stop thinking. Just Do It. It will be worth it, I promise. -Laura A.
Dirty Loops came to Aarhus last night. So did I. And how Lucky that was! Otherwise I would have missed one of the best concerts I´ve ever been to - and I have seen a lot of great artists!
The band consists of probably the best musicians I know. Tecnically they are brilliant. Henrik Linder makes that bass sound more fierce and badass than most, and his superfast fingers and unbelievable musicallity leaves you breathless. Aron Mellergårdh is a relentless drummer with any comlicated rhytm in his vocabulary. Jonah Nilsson plays keyboards somewhere between Lyle Mays, Chick Corea and Herbie Hancock - and his singing abillity matches Stevie Wonder. On tour Kristian Kraftling has his back on keyboards, and he does it very well. Add to that an obvious love for the music and the audience that make the Guys give everything they´ve got (and that´s a lot) with charisma that is hard to miss, you know that one Dirty Loops concert will never be enough. Rest assured that I will be there next time they are!
Dirty Loops KILLED IT IN PHILADELPHIA TONIGHT!
I bought 2 VIP packages and got so much more than expected. Extraordinary musicianship, stellar personalities; Jonah, Henrik, and Aaron exuded warmth, humility and sincerity.
My friends and I are highly critical of musical efforts, and were pleasantly surprised from the first note played in the sound check part of Meet & Greet. They pull off their CD "Loopified" and take it to another level with interludes only found in a live concert setting.
The crowd cheered Jonah on as he riffed and came out away from the keyboard showing us how sexy he is as a lead vocalist. Henrik and Aaron were on fire in their stage presence, sound and playing. I'm blown away!
Amazing concert! Vocals where unbelievable with Jonah reaching notes that seems impossible to reach with such a clear and perfect sound on a live performance. Crazy bass solos and the drummer was equally amazing. In total one of the best concerts that I've ever been to.
If I'd have to put a finger on anything, it would be that the band's more quiter songs seemed a bit oddly placed in the set. But besides that 5 out of 5 stars!
Buy a ticket, get your friends to buy a ticket -go to a show.. it won't be your last!
Three incredibly talented and charismatic friends and musicians, who have a blast together on stage and clearly love what they do. Their music will bring joy to your life!!
