Live reviews
The Railbenders never disappoint. Their shows are always energetic with the unexpected. While they play all our favorites from their original catalogue, they will also indulge fan requests, even of songs they "don't even know" - leading to some truly spectacular and heartfelt covers. Seeing Jim Dalton and Tony "Nascar" Asnicar trade off on impromptu guitar solos, Graham Haworth stepping in on vocals for a song or two, or Tyson Murray's commentary - all keep the shows fresh and unpredictable. The music is hands down amazing, the audience is always fully engaged and having fun, and I honestly believe they are the best live band around (their recorded stuff rocks too, of course!). Add in that they are four of the nicest guys, and totally committed to their fans; take the last show for instance: when the weather cancels their outdoor show, they spread the word to meetup at an area bar where they proceed to hop in on an open mic night and give us a show, which is particularly meaningful for those of us who traveled from across the country just to see them.
