Italian songstress Giorgia is still a huge success in her native homeland and is selling out shows in 2014. First finding commercial accolade in 1994 when her debut album charted at #2 in her home country, Giorgia has enjoyed a string of hits since then including her latest album 'Senza Paura' topping the charts in Italy.
Lately the soul singer has found equal success with her singles, with many hitting the top 20 and this has seen a renewed interest in the classic performer. Now a larger fan base attend her brilliant live shows and the adoration is clear from audience and performer. Singing almost exclusively in Italian, her silky tones echo around the room and you feel every note of anguish, toil and heart ache.
She really showcases her vocal range when attempting covers by the iconic Whitney Houston which she manages with the delectable Italian twang. Although Giorgia hardly dented the charts in the UK, the love her Italian crowds have for the songwriter makes you realise why she didn't feel the need to wander far. A really talented performer with beautiful tones to her impressive vocal range.
