Richard Elliot

The saxophone is my absolute favourite instrument and Richard Elliot truly does it justice. He's a delight to listen to live and blew away the audience with his talent. One of the best live jazz acts I’ve seen, Richard captivated the music hungry crowd with his ear pleasing melodies and infectious tunes.

The Scottish saxophonist is a soulful player illustrating his talent on his tenor sax. His melodies are sensual and romantic, he makes for the perfect evening with a partner with the soothing "All the way" and "Sookie sookie". Richard brings the perfect combination of sensual jazz and R&B.

Richard was formerly part of the funk band 'Tower of Power', in the 80s, where he played the tenor sax for 5 years. Aside from this, he also worked on Stacy Lattisaw's album "Take Me All The Way" in 1986. And if that isn't enough to convince you to see him live then how about a Grammy nomination!

The performance in Louisville, KY last night was outstanding. Richard Elliot, Rick Braun, and Norman Brown all gave us great music. The drummer in Richards band was also one of the best, I have seen. Richard displayed and showcased his mad skills while playing his Wind Controller. I recommend this tour to all smooth jazz lovers.

Richard blew the roof off the cruise ship during the recent Dave Koz & Friends at Sea Cruise. His renditions of "Summer Madness" segued with "Europa (Earth's Cry Heaven's Smile) had everyone on their feet!

First time seeing him live and one of the few artist I would gladly pay to see again.

I've saw him quite a few times and he always gives a great concert,Gato Barbieri has been my favorite but Richard Elliot is right there too, I hope he comes back, a lot of people at the show it was they're first time listening to him and he blew them away,a true talent!

Very good show. Excellent performance of all his material; old and new. And the courage to perform some other stars great songs without missing a beat. He had fun performing and it showed. We had even more fun because we could see and feel his enthusiasm for the music.

Phenomenal show. 5 great musicians who genuinely enjoy playing with each other, and gave 100 percent.They interacted with the crowd, and Every one around me had a great time. Will definitely go see them again!

Awsome show. Mindblowing! The band is mega talented and kept us entertained throughout the entire show. Richard is a natural talent that expands his abilities with the synthesizer! Incredible show!

Richard Elliot is one of the best jazz showman of our time. He put on a awesome show that was a show stopping event. I would go see Richard anytime he is at Yoshi's again great show.
