Multiple Grammy nominee, winner and smooth jazz crossover artist Earl Klugh has been spreading his joyous and slick guitar music for the past four decades. Inspired by guitar legend Chet Atkins at the age of thirteen, Klugh took pursuing his love of acoustic classical guitar and began infusing it with pop, jazz and rhythm and blues which would come to be recognised as his distinctive sound. Having recorded over thirty studio albums, achieving five number 1’s, hosting his annual weekend jazz music festival and touring the world, Klugh has become a legend in his own right. He lives for the music that he plays, putting oodles of passion into every performance. Boasting a diverse and plentiful collection of material, Klugh easily ploughs through two and a half hour set but with his slick and incredible musicianship it only feels like half an hour. As soon as he steps on stage, his radiance fills the room bringing a sense of joy and an uplifting aura. Romanticising the guitar through incorporating all his influences and his love for the music he plays, Klugh is intoxicating to watch. With thousands of people in attendance, Klugh has the incredible ability to connect with each and every one on a personal level as he changes up the tempo demonstrating admirable versatility and performs flawlessly every time.
