Seeing Annie Mac at Reading Festival in the UK, in August 2014, was definitely one of the highlights of the entire week. Despite giving off this vibe of complete modesty and real quiet pride in what she does, she has an insane energy when she gets on stage to perform. It's so clear that she loves what she does, and her music has some of the catchiest beats in the entire dance music industry.

The second she was up on stage, the already pumped up crowd went absolutely crazy. Her DJ-ing is on a whole new level, and she really knows what to do to get everyone up and dancing to the beat. How she finds the time in her busy schedule to mix music and perform for crowds escapes me, but she's incredibly good at what she does, and she proved it at Reading twofold when she got everyone in a complete dancing zone with her beats. I had no idea what to expect from her live, but the woman is funny, talented, and so good-natured, it's almost uncanny in an artist nowadays.

Annie has a unique gift, and a unique ability to multitask and do everything at a very high level. Her songs are infectiously catchy, and they're the kind that you go home and look up online immediately after you've heard them in person.

Annie Mac is the love of my musical life. Her mashup slot on the BBC opens you up to all electronic genres where all styles are represented. She follows the same flow with her sets, mixing DnB, House, Disco, Trance, Dub and everything in between to create amazing dynamic sets. Honestly you will not want to leave the dance floor as each tune just get better and better.
