Shane Filan

It pains me to say it as I adore Shane as an artist, but to me it felt less like a Shane Filan concert and more like a Westlife tribute! About half the setlist was Westlife songs. I anticipated the odd one or two but as this is his second album tour I expected more of his own music. There were about 6 songs off his current album and 3 off his first. I know he enjoys singing ballads (and he sings them beautifully) but I miss the upbeat country/folk vibe of the first album and tour. If you happen to read this Shane, please bear this in mind for future shows as I'm sure I'm not the only one who prefers hearing your own music!!!
Despite this, he does put on a good show, his voice is fantastic and I love the interaction with the crowd in these smaller venues. He obviously really loves his fans and appreciates all the support. His band are amazing too. I would definitely recommend going to see him live even if you weren't a Westlife fan. For me, Shane on his own doing his own thing is so much better than Westlife and even my husband can get on board with his music!

Before the show I had a meet and greet with him he was so lovely I've been lucky enough to have a couple of meet and greets with him before and each one was amazing and rememberable Omg the show was just amazing Shane was on form as usual every show is special but this one was even more special as my friends and I took some mini cardboard cutouts of Shane and put them on the stage when the song he was singing had finished he came over and picked mine up and started having a laugh with us about them it was so funny he loves to interact with his fans all the time if someone shouts I love you Shane he shouts back love you too would highly recommend seeing Shane Filan I was also lucky enough to get my mini Shane signed at the back stage door xxx

I saw shane last night in my hometown Swindon never thought in all these years it would happen but it did! He totally raised the roof off the wyvern.
Was an insane night shane was on top form as always absolutely mind blowing. The crowd loved him to an amazing night I'll never forget.
Also had my program signed after the gig.

Absolutely recommend that you see shane live amazing night,Amazing company,electric atmosphere, Amazing vocals and stage presence.

What a fantastic evening. This was the 4th time I have seen Shane LIVE since Westlife split up and what a night to remember. There was a mix of old and new songs from both his albums as well as a classic mix of Westlife songs. My favourite Westlife song (Fool Again) was performed acoustically which made the evening even more spectacular.

I can't wait to see him again or for another album to be released.

It was a great gig. He was fun and chatty. He sang old westlife songs, new solo originals and some covers. He even treated us to 2 new songs not on any albums. He did upbeat, he did slow and soft. It was a great show, everyone was on their feet singing and dancing. Such a good atmosphere and a brilliant show. Want to go every year.

Shane was fantastic as always , I've seen him on every tour . He values his fans and is truly grateful for us sticking with him . His vocals and stage presence just get better with time. Hull City Hall is a fabulous intimate venue , the smaller gigs are the best . Keep on doing what you're doing Shane.

We have had a fantastic times! We had a meet and greet with the man and hi was so nice! Hi have song Happy Birthday to my sis and hi signed here banner. The concert was so great it was fantastic! Thx again!!

It was my first time in Bournemouth but I loved every minute of it. Shane is a brilliant singer and you must just love his music. The Fans are strong and have a bond really looking forward to next year!

Shane was amazing as always couldn't fault him I didn't want the night to end. He did loads of his own songs and a few westlife songs. can't wait for his next tour hope I don't have too long to wait.

As always Shane gave a fantastic performance,a combination of classic Westlife tracks and more recent from his solo albums . As long as Shane continues to tour I'll definitely be there.
