Jane Monheit

I saw Jane Monheit live at one of her latest performances and was outstanded. She is beautiful; from her vice to her exterior she is an angel. Her vocals are truly magically and will leave you feeling peaceful if not envious of her amazing talent.

The Jazz and adult contemporary vocalist let the lyric do the talking as she graced us with her presence on stage. Jane Monheit will take you on an impressive journey of joy and pleasure with her graceful vocals, leaving your ears oozing with pleasure. Her style is sweet and soft, creating an abundance of emotion within the audience and the whole venue.

If you like classical music, or jazz or even adult contemporary then Jane Monheit will satisfy you. Her rendition of “Over the Rainbow” left not a dry eye in the audience. She’s powerful but at the same time still sensitive, reaching everyone’s emotion in the crowd more. You’ll be left mesmorised wit her talent.

If seeing a Jazz vocalist is on your bucket list then give Jane Monheit a try, she won’t disappoint you!

Jane is my favorite jazz singer of all time. Her wonderful interpretations of the American songbook are always breathtaking. Her classic renditions last night of "I'm going to laugh you right out of my life" and "Over the Rainbow" were prime examples of her artistry. Regrettably those were the only two in a performance that featured songs that did little to showcase her wonderful talent. I hope that her next show in Fairfield, Connecticut will include more of the music that made her the iconic singer that she is.

Jane is absolutely incredible. Her voice, her timing, expression are all perfect. She is personable and warm. She connects intimately with her audience. I thought nobody could ever sing: Over the Rainbow, but Judy Garland. That's over. Jane Monheit owns the song with her rendition. Absolutely superb with her emotional and heart felt performance.

Jane Monheit does not disappoint!!! Wonderful concert!! My husband, daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed Jane and also the CNY Jazz Orchestra was great too. Very professional band. Hope Jane comes this way again someday. Will have to check out CNYJO at another time too.
