Serengeti is such an unconventional artist, who writes such fantastic music. His lyrics are bravely of political proportions, with heavy but mellow backbeats supporting his voice. In the song “Puppydog Love” despite a very organic sway from the crowd who are very much appreciating his writing as an art form, they are completely silent listening to his music.

He performs some of his biggest songs such as “Karate”, “Dennehy” and “California”, all of his songs have such meaning if you read into them enough. You don’t need to put a microscope on them. It’s all very deep and meaningful, which is refreshing to see from this artiste at work. He is humble in his delivery but has an air of confidence about himself. He has collaborated with many different artists from various backgrounds such as Sufjan Stevens and Son Lux throughout his fruitful career. This is such a captivating an honest performance from this songwriter indeed, and it’s no surprise that he has made some pretty big waves from his creativity.
