Great show. She is a definite talent. Lovely person too. Some songs stronger than others but ‘She’ , ‘Something Holy’ and a couple of others stood out. Great venue , packed to the rafters perhaps due to ‘special guest ‘ .....Robert Plant !!! A well - kept secret that was! He and his band Saving Grace were excellent. I couldn’t see much as was right at the back but after his set when everyone filtered away , I was right at the front for A P L who I hope goes on to great success. She was signing albums and CDs at the end ( nice touch ) and I was queuing up for a selfie with her when .... my battery went flat in my phone !!!! Only dampener on a truly great evening. Good venue , I’ll go again Whether I get to see her again I don’t know as all the other UK dates are sold out. If I do , I doubt it’ll be in such an intimate setting. Well worth seeing - a great night. Robert Plant! Still can’t believe it. :).
Alice is one of the best up and coming artists there is. Her voice is magical and takes you to places and worlds you never imagined exist. She delivers it all and more with her supporting cast of talented Matteo (light version of Trent Reznor in his versitility with instruments) and new addition of Paulo on Sax.
100% recommend!
Alice was as sincere as her music reveals her to be. She gave her all, which was more touching considering her admittance that she was feeling “a little inside today.” Charming, and on point, the new album sounds even more beautiful live, and she has a great band to interact with on stage.
Alice show at the Roxy in L.A. was fantabulus. Her second set blew me away. The new music, you just have to see and hear.I'm
Hoping for new album and that Alice and new/old
Group play California very soon. I think name of 2nd set group is
Strong Boy and one song is Tough Girl.
Enchanting, captivating, endearing and utterly charming.
Alice and her music are all of the above. It was an excellent night and she is a real find. I hope she enjoys the same success and exposure that Birdy has - she deserves it.
It was not just a concert, Alice dragged you into a fantastic world of coziness. It was pure magic.
The only annoying part of it was the utterly respectless security. Their behavior is absolutely not acceptable.
