Came 2 hours early and managed to see all the soundchecks, Injury reserve and and talk to the openning act (who was super nice) before the doors to the concert even opened. The openning acts were 2 DJs and once Injury reserve started performing it waw mental. I was at the front and because the stage was so low people kept pushing me and few other people onto the stage, even fell into Ricky once. It was actually crazy how pumped the crowd, a girl next to me ended up getting her knees bruised due to it and Injury reserve performed amazingly. After the concert was over you could talk to the group to by the merch table.
Overall was an amazing night.
Injury reserve was just incredible! I queued for Barrier with my friends and it was so worth it, such a cool and unique supporting act and then a rap show and light show in one. They really had the crowd going at all times, I felt so energized the whole way through. I couldn’t focus on anything other than them, the lights were something I’d never seen before used in that way, but something I’d like to see more. The atmosphere was amazing. To top it all of, after the show we got to meet the group themselves, they were super sound and cool guys. Thank you injury reserve for the best Halloween ever!
This was probably the best show I've ever been to. They started a little later than expected (8:45), but once IR got on stage they owned it. From the hard bangers like Oh Shit!! to slower songs like ttktv, IR totally crushed it. Parker (the producer) even broke his hand on stage and powered through it, even coming back for an encore song and they all went to the march table to meet with everyone after, signing stuff and taking pictures. If you can make it to an Injury Reserve show you absolutely need to.
Having seen them on three separate occasions over the last year, I can gladly say that they’re amongst the greatest live performers I’ve ever seen. Their energy is unmatched and the way they interact with the crowd is like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. The devotion to their craft is really something to admire and telling by their M&Gs, they’re also such kind and humble guys. $15 for a ticket is one hell of a steal at this show.
Injury Reserve is my favorite music group right now, and they didn't disappoint at their show. Stepa, Ritchie, and Parker all had amazing, vibrant energy and went super hard to the extremely hard hitting songs, but also performed the slower ones with emotion and special settings that I don't want to spoil. As a fan, $15 was extremely cheap, and is honestly pretty cheap for any random person wanting to see a cool music group.
Excellent show, unfortunately poor showing.
The lads were very nice and stuck around to talk and sign stuff at the end of the show. Everything was very nice. The small setting was nice but would have liked to see it packed more, guess Oslo just isn't into Injury Reserve as much
