I remember buying my tickets for my friend and I back in September during one of my lessons hahaha. Since then, I'd been so excited.
We arrived at the venue yesterday at around 1pm to start queuing. Throughout the 6+ hours we were stood for, we made so many new friends that I'm super excited to meet again. Considering we were stood in the cold with aching legs, everyone was still smiling and laughing.
I was quick to get into the concert hall and the bag checks didn't take too long (I bought merch at the end of the show). Hey Violet brought a great supporting act with them and he really helped build the tension. When the band eventually came on stage, they gave a long and very energetic performance. For me, there was never a dull moment. Each song had us all dancing and jumping around. They played 6 of their own songs, a few covers and some new songs that have yet to be released. When the show was finished, I was very upset and couldn't really contemplate that I'd just seen them live for the second time this year. But that sadness was soon turned into pure happiness, as after the concert, they came outside to meet us all. They wouldn't leave until they'd taken photos with every single one of us.
I can quite happily say that this concert was one of the best experiences of my life. I would do anything to relive it again tonight.
Warning! There were almost just obsessive 14-year-old fangirls. Therefore the atmosphere at the concert wasn't great. No one danced apart from us. Everyone was too busy holding up a sign asking for a guitar pick, waving to the only boy in the band or filming the gig with their cellphone. Afterwards they stalked the poor support act jessarea who was too uncomfortable to finish his dinner. A lot of those people are terrible concertgoers.
Apart from all that, the band was great! Though the experience sucked. Sorry, but never again!
The band was different from last year when we seen them at Hershey Park when they opened for 5SOS. Their look and music changed so much, it took me a little bit to realize it was the band from last year. However, they rocked as usual and gave a good opening for the concert. I'll be looking for some of their new music to purchase.
Awesome!! Can't wait to see them again. Their songs were really fun, and even though not many people seemed to know them, we had a blast. It was evident that they were also having a great time, and that only made it better. I listened to their 'I can feel it' EP after that, I really recommend it.
Hey Violet is amazing! They are fantastic musicians and they make their set super fun. Plus, their songs are great and all the band members seem really nice. And, they are extremely talented and Rena, their lead singer, is really cute and interacts with the fans alot during the set!
Hey Violet was incredible! It was the first concert I had ever been to and it was amazing. Hey Violet had so much energy on stage and my favorite song by them was "Guys my Age". I hope to get it when it comes out on Spotify and I hope to see them in concert again!
Hey violet were amazing they put on a great show. They also did an acoustic show outside the stadium and I got to meet them and get a picture with them. To anyone who is thinking about seeing them live please do it's totally worth it
I thought they did an awesome job opening the show and really getting the crowd started. I enjoyed their set and think they were amazing opening and introducing the next group in the limited time they had.
