Justin and Tony really friggin' killed it that night!! The Friday sky was lit up with electricity, enough Sparks to RAISE THE DEAD!!!
Before all that though, Valentine's set was pretty great, gad me and a handful of other guys throwing down moves while the crowds started rolling in. DanielDeluxe kept the torch lit and the crowd hyped all the way to the start of Dance With The Dead. Knitting Factory is a great venue, a cool and cozy dive, a stellar place for the crowd that was drawn. Tony's solos were phenomenal and kept recharching the mosh pit over and over. Twas the night to be loved to death!!!
Shoutouts to the guy with the flashlight that helped one homie tie his shoe and helped pick up the fallen moshers. Keep on rockin' guy!!
The location where the concert was held was a bit hard to find, and lacked adequate parking outside.I thoroughly enjoyed the music that Dance with the Dead put on at the Riot Room in KC. Just as high energy and upbeat as it is to listen to online. These guys really put on a show which in my mind will be remembered for a long time. Their stage setup was pretty cool as well, with fog breathing skulls and witches scattered around. A perfect duo to listen to as it gets closer to Halloween, but great to listen to anytime of the year!
Absolutely incredible sound and amazing energy. The performers have such enthusiasm and show a great deal of passion for what they do and share this with the crowd. I had the pleasure of speaking with them after the show and they are both very nice and approachable people would love to see them back in Glasgow again and would absolutely recommend them to anyone who might be interested in seeing them perform.
Mellow Fields and Le Matos stole the show for me. DwtD was awesome as always. The sets started promptly and merch was available from all the artists. Lee's Palace is a fantastic dive with a generously sized dance floor, a slim but well curated selection of beers and quick service even when it's crowded.
They pack such a power in their music, they really give everything to it, you can really see they're giving everything, really worth experiencing!!! and had a chance to meet them at the end, really nice guys!!!!
Lebrock was also a super cool surprise, a new fan here!
Exactly what I hoped for. Listen to their albums, add in live guitars, high energy, perfect pacing, spilled drinks and a crowd that doesn't need prompting. Drop in a mindbending synth metal cover of Master of Puppets and you've got a night you won't forget.
Honestly I only went to the show last night to see Daniel Deluxe. I decided to stick around to see what Dance With The Dead was any good, and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. These guys are amazing live.
I loved the show! Great setlist! Much love!Great work with making it all sound as great as it did. Nothing to complain about here.
I would love to watch them again!
