Omar Apollo

I'd been so stoked to see Omar live from the moment I heard his music. I did feel quite awkward once the show started. I was excited to see him getting down and groovy, but it seemed like they wanted the crowd jumping versus dancing. The faster songs were sped up even more, making it hard to find a good flow for your body. This is nothing against him, but I kind of felt out of place. There were a lot of people my age (20s), but all you could hear in the crowd was young girls screaming their heads off. Fine, whatever, but it was for like every little thing he did, so it was hard to hear the music/vocals. Then towards the end he took his shirt off, making the crowd go even crazier, and me feel even more like I walked into the wrong show lol.
Like other reviewers mentioned, he's got a lot of energy and loves to dance. To me, it did come off a little disrespectful to the band because during a guitar solo, or any solo where the band member should have the stage, he'd be flailing his body around running across the stage with his sparkly shirt. 1. It's distracting and I can't see the musician 2. The young girls start screaming for his dancing and you can't hear the passion from the musician and 3. Like I said, it comes off disrespectful since you're the main guy.. Youre the name and face of the band..give the members some of the spotlight when it's their rightful turn.
I was very disappointed in the encoré too. Why speed up Hijo de Su Madre? That's such a great song and it was so fast all I heard was cymbals clashing every second. I hate being so negative because I wanted to love it and was SUPER hyped to finally see him live. I just wanted to leave some constructive criticism..hopefully someone on the team sees it and can make changes if my observations are based on any type of reality. I wanted to share my perspective.

The concert was by far, the best I've eve been to. The energy of the crowd and Omar was crazy high. The band was amazing and in sync with one another. Omar was just hopping around, dancing, and obviously having so much fun which matched the crowd's flow too. He was super interactive
and connected with us by constantly reaching out and climbing into the crowd off stage and talking too. It was a beautiful experience. And the show was only about 20 bucks which was super cheap and extremely worth it. If you ever have the chance, GO SEE OMAR APOLLO.

Omar Apollo and the band members were flawless, the energy and vibes were steamy, yet fun and light hearted. The chemistry of the whole band is one of a kind so no breaking up allowed! I hope they will return to the UK for another set. The music and Omar's voice have something that isnt found in just anyone. The music brings a deep joy that you just dont get from other music. overall a big fat 110 for the concert.. Best concert ive ever been to and thats including the drake one , shhhhh dont tell drake I said that haha -Shari Solomon

it was amazing! in such a small venue but that was actually great because i was physically close to him and the excellent band
omar has an amazing energy on stage, he was really grateful, switched the vibe a few times
setlist was lit
his voice!!! the band!!! talent;

i really enjoyed this gig and can't wait to see him again :')

Really great and so talented. Omar and the glass house really made us feel comfortable. And it also sounded great. The team did an amazing job setting up and taking down and Amber lucid as well did a great job everything was quick and efficient and so beautiful managed, great job

I saw Omar both at the Los Dells music festival and art the metro in Chicago and he is my favorite artist to watch love on concert. He is so energetic and an amazing dancer. Combined with his unreal vocals he is someone I could see love over and over again.

I would have to say that was the best concert experience I had and I've been to a few now including beyonce. Just the overall performance and how close he was to everyone made it incredible. I definitely plan on going to another concert of his if I can!

What an amazing show. I was lucky to see them at a small venue but this group is arena ready. They came out on the stage with super high energy and killed every song. DO NOT pass up the chance to see them!

Omar’s stage presence was great. Oscar, Manny, and Joey are incredibly talented. By far one of the best concerts I have ever been to. Overall it was an amazing concert. I have no complaints.

Best vibe to a concert I've ever been to. Got to see both Aeris and Omar but the hype built for both was perfect. Don't think I've ever danced non-stop and known the lyrics to all the songs
