The Bamboos

Melbourne’s own Funk & Soul powerhouse kick off a series of unique shows every Thursday in October at The Night Cat in Fitzroy with a show made for the B-Boys and B-Girls!

The Bamboos uptempo Funk tracks have long been a magnet for Breakdancers the world over, with classics like “Step It Up”, “The Witch” and “The Bamboos Theme” long being used at Breakdance competitions and featured on scores of dancer’s online videos and social media posts.

Each night of this residency will be an unmissable, uniquely themed set - giving the band a rare chance to feature deep cuts from their extensive back catalogue as they debut their newly expanded 11-piece line up, including two backing vocalists.

The theme for each weeks sets will be revealed on the Friday before.
