Raised on the salty coastal swamplands of Stratham in regional WA, Michael Ward is an established West Australian acoustic Blues, Roots, Alt Country & Alt Rock performer and has been touring his live show across Australia for years including sold out festivals and shows as he ignites & engages his audience wherever he goes.
With growing momentum he’s toured with and performed on festivals with some of the best artists in the scene including Morgan Evans, The Waifs, Eskimo Joe, Lee Kernaghan, Adam Brand, Beccy Cole, Casey Barnes, Sneaky Sound System, Amber Lawrence, Steph Strings, Jordy Maxwell & Caravana Sun as well as many more. His passion and drive for elite live show performances sees him as one of Perth’s most prolific original touring artists and his work ethic has been rewarded with WA Country Music Awards, 2025 nominations for Male artist of the year, Best Alt Country Single of the year and Open Songwriter of the year.
