"Re-emerging from their DIY roots in Manchester, False Advertising have spent years perfecting a distinctive sound that blends grunge influences with melodic alternative rock.

"Don’t Ask Me" (via Alcopop!), the band’s darkly catchy, riff-laden new single is the first taste of new music following the band's previous album “Brainfreeze”. The single release completes a fruitful 2024, a year that saw the band return to the live scene, playing festivals including Manchester Punk Festival, Strangeforms and headline dates across the UK.

Set to jump head-first into 2025 with the addition of a new member, the band plan to share much more new music across the year, the results of spending much time working between the band’s own Manchester studio and London’s The Church Studios.

Having built a serious live reputation, False Advertising have played some of the industry’s top festivals, including SXSW, Meltdown, Truck Festival and 2000 Trees. They’ve also supported major acts including Everything Everything and Idles, cementing their status as a formidable force in the alternative rock scene."

Support comes from very special guests BLIND WIVES - making their return to the stage for an exclusive, one-off reunion show and their first performance in 10 years! They will also joined by Lincolnshire's own GUTS. and Soaper.
