Raise Your Tankards! Heavies & Bevvies Festival Sets Sail for Perth in 2025

Leading the charge for 2025 is Illyria, Australia’s progressive post-black metal force. Fresh off the announcement of their upcoming EP, The Walk of Atonement, Illyria brings their signature mix of intricate orchestration, extreme intensity, and immersive storytelling to the Heavies & Bevvies stage. Sharing headlining duties is Woewarden, a band renowned for their atmospheric and depressive black metal. With a history spanning four releases, their powerful and haunting performances have drawn fans across Australia and beyond. Expect nothing less than a sonic odyssey drenched in darkness and beer.

Joining the fray are a lineup of special guests set to make waves:

Oceans & Omens – A crushing force in Perth’s metalcore scene, blending melodic hooks, groove-driven riffs, and a narrative of gods, demons, and the horrors beneath the waves.

Vanta – A relentless melodic deathly act forging a sinister and modern amalgamation of blackened undertones and bone-crushing composition. More than just music, VANTA is a driving force of creative destruction, carving their own path in the modern death metal landscape.

Broken Hymns – Fusing progressive metal with atmospheric depth, Broken Hymns deliver crushing riffs, haunting melodies, and an intense live presence that leaves crowds in awe.
