Formed in the back room of a vinyl pressing plant in Highett, Eddy Current Suppression Ring

have become one of Australia’s most revered underground bands—without ever aiming for

the spotlight. Since 2003, the four-piece has built a cult following for their raw, high-voltage

sound: a stripped-back blend of garage rock, post-punk and proto-punk energy delivered

with unmistakable DIY spirit.
