The Melbourne Ska Bar is making a loud, brassy return on Sunday February 8th from 2pm, taking over its brand new home at The Dogs Bar, St Kilda for an afternoon of high-energy skanking, cold drinks and zero entry fee. That’s right, FREE ENTRY, so save your cash for merch and beers.

Headlining the chaos are Melbourne ska punk heavyweights The Resignators, bringing their signature punchy upstrokes, shout-along choruses and unstoppable live energy that has kept pits bouncing for years.

They will be joined by the fierce Roarcuss, an all-female ska punk powerhouse serving razor-sharp riffs, bold brass and an attitude that hits as hard as the first snare crack.

Completing the lineup are crowd favourites Operation, Big Jake Bosstone, Australia’s favourite 90s ska punk tribute band, celebrating the golden era of plaid pants, sweaty singalongs and horns that never knew when to stop.

This event marks a fresh era for the Melbourne Ska Bar, with The Dogs Bar becoming the new stomping ground for ska lifers, punk kids and anyone who thinks Sundays should be louder.

So grab your mates, warm up those calves and get down early. Expect fast songs, big smiles and dancing that defies logic and gravity.
