Fabulous night as ever in the company of Megson (Deb and Stu Hanna) however this time ably assisted under the guise of The Megson Band by Cliff Ward on Fiddle and Banjo and John Parker on Double Bass. Progressing through the whole new album could have been costly however given the dimension the additional new guys provided along with ever present lyrics of a bygone age as well as current tales of life and struggles the crowd lapped up the new offerings interspersed with old favourites and the promise of more enticed the crowd back for more despite the promise of a fish supper intermission! Wonderful tunes, aching lyrics and musicianship to boot....long live Megson in all their forms.
