Andrew Bayer loves melodic trance so much that mixes pretty much flow directly out of his fingers during a set. I’m almost convinced that if you took his equipment away he’d somehow be able to transubstantiate the air around you into his music. Andrew Bayer is certainly no god, but up on that platform in the DJ booth, he is most certainly a divine creator.
Andrew’s mixes combine elements of IDM and progressive house within his sound. It’s a result that is danceable and always interesting. Watching Andrew DJ you can tell that he’s itching to be down amongst the crowd dancing to his songs. Instead, though, he gives his sets everything he’s got and has a great time while he works.
If in Ibiza this summer you may have seen Andrew’s awesome sets at Cream @ Amnesia. His music is definitely the perfect come after a night of hard-core dance music. His trance track hits such as “The District” pull you into the (slightly) more chilled out vibe you’ve been searching for all evening. Definitely check out an Andrew Bayer set if you haven’t already. You won’t be disappointed.
