Mighty Oaks

Sincerity and grateful. The Mighty Oaks have this special and relaxing appearance. On the first sight Ian could appear as cool because he's muscled, but when he starts to smile it's all okay. Then he could be your brother, like they are, look like and sing about.

In the first place the album sounded a bit poppy and monotonous, like 'Don't Lie to Me' and 'Burn'. But when heard live I started to realize it wasn't. The whole atmosphere, the raw voice, the themes..

They bring such a vibe, it made the crowd clap, yell and scream for a spontaneous 5 minutes. (Not even on the encore)

Themes about fulfilling your dreams, be honest, do what you want and love who you love can make everyone 'Dreamers'. It all comes together in 'Raise a Glass', they call it their 'Zusammenbringing' or something:
