Plini and Delta Sleep

First headline world tour "Handmade Cities" from Plini took in O2 Academy3 in Birmingham on March 17 2017. The 200 capacity room with great sound ia a refreshing change to some over amplified venues, allowing us to hear and appreciate every detail. Plini's melodic Ozzie instrumental guitar rock is at the Jazz fusion end of Djent metal. The talent of Plini is matched by his impeccable band of Try Wright, Jake Howsam Lowe and Simon Grove. Unlike many bands of this genre Plini departed from the album scores to include solos and improv with not only his band but also the support bands, making for a really special evening that drew in the audience for what you feel is the beginning of a huge career for this young composer and performer.

Awesome show, very intimate venue so the stage was clearly visible from all areas. They put on one great set full of bangers. A little too loud at times but that's a proximity thing not a mix or set up issue. 10/10 would see a third time
