Blues Explosion perform a night of electrifying blues encompassing all styles from Delta Blues to New Orleans funk.

Since its inception in 2008, our monthly blues night has remained a firm favourite on the club calendar, bringing top performers from the world of jazz and blues. Co-led by guitarist/vocalist Marcus Bonfanti (Ten Years After), pianist/vocalist Paddy Milner (Tom Jones) and featuring the dynamic Tony Remy (Jack Bruce) also on guitar, the Blues Explosion performs a night of electrifying blues - playing the music of BB King, Buddy Guy, Peter Green, Albert Collins, Dr. John and many more.

The band regularly invite unannounced special guests for each performance. These have included the likes of Hamish Stuart, Eric Burdon, Buddy Whittington, Sarah-Jane Morris, Vasti Jackson, Pee Wee Ellis, Beverley Skeete, Noel McCalla, Kara Grainger and more.
