Tiago Saga, lead singer from Time for T, will be playing with his new band Tiago Saga & The Band Rehearsal. Support from Berlin artist Leelo.
I don’t think i have ever experienced such a complete and satisfying performance, as Time for T live. From the moment they walked on the stage i was struck by the un-affected and friendly atmosphere that surrounds them, and it didn’t take long for me to be charmed and won over by Tiago’s humble and charismatic interaction with the audience. Other then the obvious “tightness” of the group, it was great to witness how each member of the band brought his own fair share of quality and individual style, Tiago as the front man with his strong voice and easy smile, Joshua with his big hair and naughty boy air, and Juan barefooted dancing around his percussion and providing excellent backing vocals, were the crowds favourites, until Harry played his guitar solo. The music was great, and did not in one instance falter throughout the performance. It brought back feelings I had when listening to my parents folk albums, mixed with the indie and reggae albums i bought myself, but with a new twist that made it more then apparent i was listening to a contemporary band with a whole new sound of their own. Exposing life through music in a way that touches you is the art of the great performer, but to do it in a way that makes you smile and feel good about yourself is even greater. Time for T left me singing and dancing for some days following their show, but it did also leave me with a longing…to see and hear them again SOON!
