Kris Barras Band

Exceptional. Nothing else needs to be said.

Being full of cold and a tortuous 19 hour journey to the gig, the late start did nothing to dent the enthusiasm and energy of the band. Superb performance with songs from both previous albums plus three excellent tracks from the as yet unreleased third album. Kris and the band were all in fine form and really got the crowd going with their unique brand of blues.

The band’s popularity became evident after the gig with the merchandise stand being inundated with punters buying up CDs and the resurgent vinyl. Kris made a very welcome appearance posing for photos and signing items.

The Kris Barras Band isn’t one for the future, they’re here now and they rock!
