Benny Sings

Three studio albums, and one live album in, Dutch pop singer Benny Sings is no stranger to live performances. He knows exactly what his fans want from him, and never disappoints them; in fact, he will usually try to top the last show each time.

With his name in lights illuminating the stage, he has an attention getting presence that just draw you in; despite having his instrumentalists behind him. Backed by a drummer and a keyboardist, he performs a majority of his songs playing the bass guitar. His vocals are extremely unique, and can really only be appreciated in the live sense, because when listening to his studio versions, I tend to find it a bit whiney. Going in with a bit of apprehension, I was pleasantly surprised at the great full sound that the three artists produce. It is a lot of high energy, dance your pants off type show that leaves you feeling completely exhausted but having had the best time. My favorite performance of the night was “Little Things” because the excitement of a live show, and the peppiness of the song itself just made for a really great time. He is definitely worth taking the time to check out, because you are definitely guaranteed a good time.
