Olivia O'Brien

Olivia O'brien puts on an all-around awesome show. Her voice is unique, her lyrics are raw and refreshing, and her stage presence is cool. I loved everything about the show, except that the Roxy Theater has no ventilation or fans and it felt like 100 degrees in there. The fans and performers were resorting to folding up their tickets into paper fans and asking the stage crew for towels to wipe their sweat. Overall though, the intimacy of the venue is nearly unbeatable, so I guess the stuffiness is worth it.
