Makes My Blood Dance is where heavy music collides with the pulse of the nightclub. Formed in Brooklyn, the band has become known for turning rock venues into sweat-soaked dance floors, blending industrial edge, glam spectacle, and electronic intensity into a live experience built for movement.
At the center is EV0, leading a band that thrives on tension and release. MMBD shows are physical, immersive, and unpredictable, pulling audiences out of passive observation and into participation. Crowds don’t stand still. They move.
The sound pushes between worlds. Massive guitar riffs collide with pulsing electronics, dark pop melodies, and groove-driven rhythms, pulling influence from industrial, alternative metal, electro-pop, and late-night club culture without settling fully into any one scene.
That collision has started building serious momentum. “Heavy Metal Armour” has surpassed 680,000 Spotify streams, while “Time And A Place” has generated more than 640,000 YouTube views. Their latest single, “Lately (feat. Macy Gray),” pairs MMBD’s darker, cinematic production with the Grammy Award-winning artist’s unmistakable voice, creating a crossover moment that expands the band’s reach without sacrificing identity.
Signed to Metropolis Records, Makes My Blood Dance will release their debut album, Z3R0 2 LGHT $P33D!, produced by Mikal Blue and Bret Mazur, pushing the band further into darker, more immersive territory.
Touring remains the backbone. MMBD consistently performs 80+ shows a year, converting audiences across rock, industrial, alternative, and nightlife scenes through relentless live performance and direct fan connection. With U.S. momentum accelerating and European touring discussions underway for 2027, the band continues building a world that extends far beyond the stage.
Makes My Blood Dance isn’t built around spectatorship. It’s built around release.
