About Julian Gray
Discovered by deadmau5 for his label mau5trap as a teenager, and with over a decade of releases on trance staples Anjunabeats, Enhanced Music, Monstercat and Blackhole, Graydient Collective label head Julian Gray establishes a fresh approach to dance music in his creations, fusing a forward thinking mix of melodic techno, progressive house and trance.
Julian's music receives support from dance music icons Deadmau5, Above & Beyond, Kaskade, Tritonal, and publications Forbes, BBC Radio, MusicRadar and EDM.com, who referred to him as 'one of the fastest rising artists of his generation’.
As a live artist, Julian has performed on some of the largest stages in the world, with notable appearances including EDC Las Vegas, EDC Orlando, Dreamstate SoCal, Hollywood Palladium, and Exchange LA. Live events are accompanied by radio guest mixes on Above & Beyond's iconic Group Therapy, Enhanced Radio, and Tritonal’s Tritonia, with continual play on SiriusXM and features on everything from Aly & Fila's Future Sound Of Egypt to Armin Van Burren's A State Of Trance.
Julian’s decade-long, multi-million stream discography features ‘Static’ (w/ Zashanell, Anjunabeats), ‘Out Here’ (w/ Filter’s Richard Patrick, Graydient Collective, 2024), ‘Cold Outside’ (w/ Dezza), ‘AIR’ (w/ 28mm & FORTS) on Enhanced/Colorize, and ‘REVOLVER’ (w/ SOFI). Official remixes include Haliene, Blake Lewis, KJ Sawka, Matt Fax, Shingo Nakamura, Matt Lange, Gabriel & Dresden, and EDDIE.
Great vibes! Julian clearly loves what he does and it shows in his sets. He plays both his own music and songs from other artists (the crowd at his Portland show loved it when he played Children by Tinlicker), and he's appreciative of everyone who comes to listen or chat to him. Would definitely see him headline!
