Baalti & Friends is back for its second edition! New gang of our very talented friends, new heavyweight lineup from NY and beyond :)

1OO1O joins us from CDMX, bringing his unique flavor of sweltering percussive techno and breaks tinged with salsa, dembow and reggaeton. He’ll be joined by fellow Mexico City based DJ, Loris, who has carved her own brand of dance-driven high energy sets informed by her Latin & Middle Eastern background. Expect to dance and sweat heavy for this set.

Closer to home, we’ve got Arushi Jain teaming up with SLINK crew member rrao for a debut b2b, unveiling trippy, groovy, percussive sounds they’ve been co-creating and co-curating. Expect some early listens to what these two sonic wizards have been cooking up, we can’t wait to get thrown deep into their wormhole.

Rounding out the lineup is Doctor Jeep, the man whose tunes seem omnipresent across every USB from Brooklyn to Berlin. An incredibly versatile producer and DJ, whose music holds a unique physicality and tactile quality, blending heady bass-driven sounds with global rhythms informed by his Brazilian-American heritage.

And us? We’ve been deep in the Dek Bass wormhole, coming out of soundsystem-focused sets at Nuits Sonores in Lyon + a live A/V show “Into The Mela” at Dripping festival. We’re gonna bring our newest bag from West Bengal, heavy low end and a fresh bag of our favorite drummy polyrhythmic tunes to make your asses shake.

We are beyond excited to put this lineup together and bring you some of our favorite club sounds all in the same night. July 11th at 314 Scholes. see you there :)
