The Residents

Residents, Melkweg Amsterdam 27-1-2022:

After all those years, I went out to finally see the Residents.

What I saw was unfortunately a bad coverband.

Can you blame them? No. The charade is part of their act. Should I know this was the Residents 2.0 up front? Yes. With bands like Gwar, you know it is not the original version, and so it be.

When they appeared on stage, I immediately could tell these guys were a lot younger, and above all, the songs lacked emotion and depth.
