Monthly DJ Workshop Series 2026
Presented by G-CAP (NPO), Artscape & Beat Bangaz DJ Academy
Join us once a month throughout 2026 for a free DJ workshop designed to introduce young people and aspiring DJs to the art, culture, and craft of DJing.
These workshops are facilitated by Beat Bangaz DJ Academy under the auspices of G-CAP (Great Cape Ambassadors Programme), a registered non-profit organisation (NPO), in partnership with Artscape. Together, we are committed to creating meaningful opportunities that empower young people through music, mentorship, skills development, and positive community engagement.
Participants will explore far more than just mixing music. Each session offers practical, hands-on experience covering DJ fundamentals, music selection, beatmatching, performance techniques, equipment, and an appreciation of DJ culture.
Whether you're a complete beginner or already developing your skills, the workshops provide a welcoming, supportive environment where creativity is encouraged, confidence is built, and everyone has the opportunity to grow.
Central to the programme is Beat Bangaz DJ Academy's ethos of "Each One, Teach One"—fostering safe spaces with zero ego, where collaboration and shared learning help every participant reach their potential.
