David Guetta

DJing professionally from the age of 18, and after spending years on the French club scene wowing crowds and winning fans, David Guetta formed Gum Productions in 2001 in partnership with DJ and producer Joachim Garraud. He subsequently released his first hit single “Just A Little More Love” which charted across Europe. The success of this single afforded Guetta the opportunity to release his debut album of the same name on the Virgin Records Label.

Two studio albums later, David Guetta began to find some success within the UK and across mainland Europe with the release of his album “Pop Life”. But it was his 2009 album “One Love” which bought him international success with singles “When Love Takes Over” and “Sexy Bitch” storming the charts worldwide.

The success of Guetta’s collaborations with Kelly Rowland and Akon on “One Love” paved the way for a mountain of collaborations for his fifth studio album “Nothing but the Beat” which features Nicki Minaj, Sia, Snoop Dogg and Taio Cruz, amongst others. The album hit the number one spot in the UK and reached number five in the US, with “Where Them Girls At” and “Titanium” performing well in the US and beyond.

David Guetta has toured all over the world – both on solo stints and alongside Rihanna in 2013. He has literally travelled over a million miles to bring his dance anthems to all four corners of the globe, and is known for releasing the party animal in his fans.

With two Grammys already under his belt and a strong legion of fans from across the globe, David Guetta’s fame and success will continue to balloon. It is without doubt a success produced of hard work, and is more than deserved.

Building an early underground following in his native Holland, Afrojack’s initial explosion onto the scene came with the release of his single ‘Take Over Control’. The song was an instant hit, filling dancefloors all over the world and even reaching Platinum status in the US.

Around this time Afrojack also launched his label imprint ‘Wall Recordings’, a place where he could begin to nurture and grow new EDM talent under his tutorage. He also became one of the first artists to sign a residency in Las Vegas, performing there over a dozen times. Its moves like this that have helped him to ranked by Forbes as one of the highest paid DJ’s in the world.

Collaborations with the likes of EDM royalty such as David Guetta and pop superstars like Chris Brown and Madonna, helped to build Afrojack’s profile and it wasn’t long before he was headlining festivals like Electric Daisy Carnival, playing to over 300,000 people.

2014 saw the release of his debut album ‘Forget The World’ and was a huge success, spurred on by monster singles like ‘The Spark’. His talents have not only been recognized through commercial success but he has been voted at number 9 in ‘Dj Mag’s top Djs’ two years in a row. All of this makes for an impressive resume for someone who is young enough to have plenty left to give – expect to hear a lot more about Afrojack in years to come.

Born 7 July 1991, Alesso hit the EDM world fast and hard, catching worldwide attention in 2011 for both his remixes and originals by some of the largest EDM artists, among them were Avicci, Tiesto, Kaskade and Swedish House Mafia. His biggest hit becoming the remix he did of “Pressure,” originally by Nadia Ali, Starkillers & Alex Kenji; in fact, the remix became one of the most played EDM songs in 2011. Alesso easily hit the Top 100 DJ list for DJ Mag in the number 70 spot, earning him MTV’s EDM Artist to watch in 2012.

With all this attention, 2012 turned out to be another great year for the young artist. In April he made his first BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, moved up to the 20th spot on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJ list. His collaboration with One Republic’s Ryan Tedder, and fellow Swedish DJ Sebastian Ingrosso resulted the global chart topping track “Calling (Lose My Mind).”

Using the forward momentum from the previous year, Alesso found himself on top of the charts again in 2013 with his collaboration with mega DJ Calvin Harris and Hurts for “Under Control.” In 2014 he found himself making the rounds of the world’s largest EDM festivals such as Ultra Europe Festival in Croatia and Electronic Daisy Carnival (EDC) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Belgian native Felix De Laet has long held a passionate interest in music, however it wasn’t until he owned his first computer that crafting house beats and remixes became a thing of reality. Initially trying his hand at jazz-influenced deep house tracks and trap beats, the producer subsequently signed with Armin van Buuren’s Armada Music label. The move raised the anticipation for de Laet’s debut release, which surfaced in October 2014 as the smash hit remix single “Are You with Me”.

Originally composed as a purely album track by American country singer Easton Corbin, de Laet’s “Are You with Me” is an upbeat, house-pop single, featuring an addictive running beat that leads to a subtle climax. Upon the track’s release in October 2014, the single went straight to the top of the Belgian, Flemish chart, and subsequently found the top spot in Australia, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, and the UK. Raising the DJ and producer’s profile to new unprecedented levels having only released a single track, de Laet began remixing singles by Armin van Buuren and Dimitri Vegas. The musician’s sophomore release arrived in 2015 as the single “Reality” featuring Janieck Devy. Once again finding the No. 1 spot in the Belgian, Austrian, and German singles charts, the single proved another great success for the burgeoning musician.

Despite only being in his teens, Oliver Heldens was quick to find success with his brand of deep house, initially releasing tracks on the label, Spinnin' Records, having started in 2013. His first releases, "Stinger," "Thumper" (a collaboration with DJ Jacob van Hage) and "Panther" achieved a warm reception although remained relatively unknown.

Superstar DJ, Tiesto, took notice of Helden and signed him to his label, Musical Freedom, before releasing his debut single on the imprint, "Gecko" in December 2013. Gaining significant hype, the track was praised by a number of media outlets and DJs, most notably Pete Tong, who named the track his 'Essential New Tune' on his BBC Radio 1 show. Adapting the single to feature British vocalist Becky Hill, "Gecko (Overdrive)" went on to reach the top of the UK charts.

Helden then turned his attention to his masterful remix of label mate, Martin Garrix's hit, "Animals," managing to completely re-imagine the track whilst maintaining the original memorable melody. The remix gained critical praise, helping to raise Helden's profile. Helden next found success with his remix of Robin Thicke's "Feel Good," before then making a number of appearances at European festivals that Summer, playing big sets at Tomorrowland and Creamfields.

During his teenage years, Gervais became the headline resident of Paris’ Le Queen Club (FRA), before moving to South Beach Miami (US) and performing at the forefront of Club Space Terrace. In 2009, the internationally-celebrated DJ and producer released the single ‘Mauri’s Dream’, which was Pete Tong’s Essential Tune of the Week for three consecutive weeks. The single ‘Molly’ reached number one in the Buzz and Cool Cuts Charts in 2012, whilst gaining over six million hits on YouTube, and featured in Michael Bay’s 2013 movie Pain & Gain.

In 2014, Gervais won the ‘Best Remixed Recording’ accolade at the 56th Grammy Awards, and was nominated for producing the ‘EDM Song Of The Year’ at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, for the single ‘Summertime Sadness (Remix)’. The energetic single topped the UK Dance Chart, and peaked in the top 10 of the Australian, Canadian and US charts, gaining Gervais mainstream recognition, whilst also topping the Beatport charts for two weeks.

Gervais may be compared to the likes of Fedde Le Grand, Nicky Romero and Hardwell, whilst he has also performed at prestigious settings such as Ultra Music Festival (US), EDC Las Vegas (US) and Space (ESP). He is commended for his charitable work, having worked with EDM lifestyle brand Electric Family to produce a collaboration bracelet for which all of the proceeds are donated to Miami Children’s Health. Gervais also runs his own radio show - Miamication - which broadcasts weekly on SiriusXM, and signed to Interscope Records in October 2014.

Born on 7 September 1977 in Utrecht, Netherlands Fedde Le Grand first hit the music scene with the single "Put Your Hands Up For Detroit" in 2006 and reached several top lists in a number of countries including: top five on the Dutch Top 40, number one in the United Kingdom and spent five weeks on the Dance Charts in Spain. He then released several tracks such as “Let Me Think About It,” “Control Room,” “Sparks,” and remixes like Coldplay’s “Paradise” and ERTG’s “Missing” and Nikki Williams “Glowing.” These releases helped rocket him into continued success around the world, playing a number of major festivals such as Ultra in Miami.

Along with fellow DJS, Funkerman and Raf Jensen, Fedde le Grand founded Flamingo Recordings in 2004. Additionally, he started mixing a weekly radio show called "Dark Light Sessions" that airs every Friday on satellite radio, which features many of the Flamingo releases. In 2009 Fedde Le Grand was named by DJ magazine as number 29 on their annual Top 100 DJ Poll. On top of major EDM festivals, he also has played a number of other major festivals such as Coachella in Indigo Valley in California, and Exit Festival in Serbia.
