Peter Broderick

American born multi-instrumentalist, composer and songwriter Peter Broderick celebrates ten years living in Ireland with several special concerts throughout 2026, bringing along his greatest friends from his adopted home and sharing music that is often reserved for private hangouts and pub sessions. Broderick and this group of four other men have been meeting yearly in the Burren (a unique landscape of limestone hills in the west of Ireland) for the annual Winterage, an ancient farming tradition where hundreds of people gather to lead herds of cattle up the mountain. This practice of bringing together the same group of friends each year, finding a place to stay just the five of them after the day’s hike, has become a sacred space for the five men. A safe place to share the depths of what’s on their hearts while sitting around a camp fire, to cook elaborate feasts and break bread together, and of course, to play music. What began as a tradition of friends getting together and playing only for themselves has finally made its way to the stage. After one ecstatic night at the legendary Tivoli Vredenburg in Utrecht back in January and Irish summer tour, the year will be finished up with one last special show at Colosseum Berlin. Expect lively music of the sort that can be found in Irish pubs along with some more gentle and somber moments.
