Having recently teamed up to create To A God (Compassion), the stand out track on their recent album Prey/LV/Ears, Run Logan Run once again invite Mumble Tide to perform alongside them for their long awaited return to Strange Brew. In the summer of 2026—following a sonic journey of spiritual exploration in his Ankh Sanctuary studio—saxophonist & producer Andrew Neil Hayes announced the return of his boundary smashing jazz-not-jazz project, Run Logan Run. It had been three years since the release of Nature Will Take Care Of You on Bristol’s own Worm Discs label. During that time Hayes dismantled old structures in order to make way for something new, emerging reinvigorated with a brand new clutch of boundary pushing collaborators, including vocalists BB.JAMES and Gina Leonard, and drummers Chris Langton and Ryan Thrupp.

At the forefront of Bristol’s contribution to the pulsing UK jazz scene come Run Logan Run, an alchemical fusion of surging polyrhythms and screaming guttural saxophone. Guided by the searching and fearless tone of founding member Andrew Neil Hayes’s horn, the band has earned a reputation for explosive live performances, full of raw power and visceral energy. The project continues to evolve a line-up that has featured many of the city’s most innovative musicians.

MUMBLE TIDE

Buoyed by an ever-evolving collage of pop influences, Mumble Tide’s work has regularly swung between the sweet and savage, the grungy and glistening. But at its heart is the meeting of two minds; singer-songwriter Gina Leonard and multi-instrumentalist Ryan Rogers. Over the last few years they have honed their distinctive brand of kaleidoscopic indie, all anchored by Leonard’s crystalline, plaintive voice.
