“A hypnotic blend of psych-rock and pop, Elephant Stone’s music is both enchanting and haunting.” - Rolling Stone
They held a presence that most could not look away from. Two songs the singer played the sitar, and if you closed your eyes you could be anywhere in the past you wanted to be, perhaps future too. The guitarist was lovely, alternating between using his slide, to whammy bar for every played note, to even singing with heavily psyched out vocals.
Bottom line: Go see them!
They are the nicest people (I can't help but wonder if it's because they're Canadian?). Regardless, I talked with the guitarist outside the venue before their set, not knowing what he looked like, and he's a normal down to earth guy like I wish all rockers would be like!
Thanks Elephant Stone for an amazing night of music that I will never in my life forget (partially because the Cubs won game 7 in overtime to win the World Series and they wweek showing it at the bar!) Thanks duders!
