Krizz Kaliko

Pretty much everything about Krizz Kaliko grabs you right form the off - his unusual stage name, his striking appearance - augmented by the presence of the skin condition vitiligo around his eyes and on his lips - and his penchant for dressing in exuberant fashion. It’s something that’s certainly carried over to his music, too, down the years, with his six records to date all being eccentric, noisy affairs that genuinely offer up a unique - and by no means subtle - take on the hip hop genre. Of course, it’s no real surprise that this particular part of Kaliko’s personality carries over to his hell-raising live shows, which are usually raucous affairs; there’s no room for downtempo tracks in his setlist, with banger after banger instead being order of the day. Kaliko himself proves himself fully capable of bringing his off-kilter flow to the live arena with as much energy and passion on record, but the gigs generally tend to be all about his stage presence - from packed club to huge festival, this is a man who knows how to work a crowd.

The show was extremely cool, but kind of short. At least it seemed very short to me, because we were out the club about 20 min before the official end and had already waited about 20 min for an encore that never took place.

Unfortunately, one of the bartenders was really rude and ignored people who just wanted to return their glasses and bottles up until the point at which many of them left really angry. That was a huge bummer, because I would have liked to drink a little more. The guy had a lot of tattoos and an eye in his right crook of the arm. Incredible how he treated paying customers.

Apart from all that, the show was brilliant and I had a lot of fun. Would always go to see Krizz Kaliko and Tech N9ne again :)

I just wanted to say that krizz kaliko and tech n9ne was the absolute best concert I've ever been to. Full of energy and love. And I love the fact that both of them are huge fans of Idaho. Its a great place and I'm glad that they came

Consistently an amazing show.The energy can't be matched. Krizz is one of the best, of all time. It's a privilege to get to see him at an intimate venue like the Riot Room.

Amazing!!!! I loved the show. I got to go for my birthday and I had an amazing time!! I hope to go again when he comes back!!! <3 I love you krizz!!!!!!
