When I go to see live music, one of the things that I love, is being able to dance to the music that the band plays. Skip The Use are definitely an all singing all dancing band, and their incredible performances won them the title of ‘best live group of artist revelation of the year’ in 2012, which of course make me know I was going to get an awesome show from them!
They opened with Cup of Coffee, and got the audience singing along right away, and even held out the microphone to us to encourage it. They’re all incredible instrumentalists, and the way that they were able to dance around the stage and give it their all whilst smashing it out on the instruments was simply astounding.
They played a great selection of songs from old to new, and maintained their high energy and incredible dancing throughout the show. When they played Birds are Born to Fly, they invited a couple near the front on stage who sang with them, which was very cool, and lovely to see that they value their fans and spectators wonderfully.
