I saw Sean Rowe perform at The Millroom, Asheville in the States in September 2014, and the atmosphere was absolutely gorgeous. Not enough that the guy is so charming and modest and sweet, he emanates really positive vibes and a very folksy, edgy kind of character, which is wonderful because his music reflects his personality almost perfectly that way. He's so talented that you almost forget how young he is and that he spends most of his time nature-walking.
Folk music is one of my favourite genres, and I really felt Sean's original songs get under my skin. When he sang anything from his latest album, 'Magic', I was so transported and so glad to be able to hear him in person and not just on tape. His voice is like liquid gold, and he's so professional when he's up on stage that it really impressed me to see him. An absolute treasure to music, and I'm so happy that he's just constantly pushing himself to be the best of himself in the industry.
He was an absolute joy to watch, and I really love that I was able to be in Asheville at the time of this performance. His music is completely transcendent, and it really speaks to someone that loves observing life in its natural state.
Sean Rowe at St Pancras Old Church was everthing I expected. Brilliant singing and guitar playing on some fantastic self penned songs. This guy is far too good to be playing in front of 100 people. He must get on the festival tour here.
The show was as good as the opening band was bad. That's how good it was.
Alone on stage, Sean Rowe hits the spot with his deep voice. An amazing show from an amazing artist.
