In the mid 80s-90s Camouflage were one of the biggest German acts around, bringing their dark synth-pop to audiences around the world. After a long absence, Camouflage have recently returned to the fold, performing their New Wave classics to a new generation of fans. Their performance at the Aurora Concert Hall in St. Petersburg was an astonishing return to the stage, impressing with their still apparent energy and enthusiasm for their well-crafted songs that entranced the audience. Their sound was dynamic and full, creating a euphoric atmosphere in the venue as their synth-driven songs gradually built to their climactic ends. The show was for their thirty year anniversary, having started out in 1984, meeting in Bietigheim-Bissingen, Germany. The trio were joined on stage by other band members to create a full live show, complete with powerful drumming and distorted guitars that added to the excitement. "The Great Commandment is perhaps their biggest hit and when they started this track, the audience clearly had eagerly anticipated the chance to hear it. And Camouflage did not disappoint, proving to any doubters that they are serious about this comeback and are eager to perform to their fans. New Wave influenced much of the contemporary music we hear today ad with Camouflage back on the scene, they offer a return to the sound that dominated the airwaves during the 80s.
