I was lucky enough to get to see Italian singer Adriano Celentano live at the Arena di Verona in 2012. It was a very intense performance to a huge crowd of adoring fans. He took it in stride and entered the stage smiling, waving at his fans. The lights flashed as he adjusted the microphone and then, without hesitation, began singing a fast paced rock song with lyrics that flew by quickly. He did a great job and sang almost as quickly as some of the rappers out there can rap. It was a very impressive feat and a great opening to his set for the night.The audience clapped, cheered, jumped, raised an Italian flag in the air, and showed their love for the singer's home country as well as the singer himself. His performance was lively, well-done, and fun to listen to and watch. It was hard to take your eyes off the clearly very talented singer as he moved around on stage and sang his fast Italian songs to the crowd. The crowd itself applauded after every song, showed a lot of love to the singer, and was an excellent audience. I would highly recommend seeing Adriano live to everyone who is interested in doing so.
