Paisley released his debut album, ‘Who Needs Pictures’, in 1999, at the age of 26. If that sounds young by general standards, Paisley must already have felt ancient by that age, at least in terms of how long his musical life had been going on; he’d been playing country music, in one form or another, pretty much all his life, from his early days singing at family parties to being picked up as a weekly performer on local radio in his teens.
Back then, he could only really have dreamed about what was to come; he can now lay claim to having sold in excess of twelve million records worldwide, with three Grammy Awards to his name, two American Music Awards, and the ultimate honour of American country music having been bestowed upon him – he was inducted as a member of the Grand Ole Opry in 2001 – the youngest member ever to join. Paisley continues to tour and record, with his frequent humorous references to popular culture in his lyrics having become his calling card over the years; not to mention, of course, his iconic cowboy hat, a staple of his live performances. He’s released more than ten studio albums, including his own Christmas record.

I saw Brad Paisley for the first time in May 2013 at PNC Arts Center. I had wanted to see him for quite some time and was thrilled when I found out he was kicking off the Country Megaticket Series at PNC. The concert was fantastic. We had lower right side orchestra seating. We were towards the back of the section but the stage had a semi-circle area in the middle of the orchestra section so Brad Paisley was actually quite a bit closer to us throughout the concert. He is a great entertainer and a fantastic singer. I loved that he mixed his older hits with his new album, especially when he played "He Didn't Have To Be," a song he wrote for his song co-writer and the guy's stepson and the first song that turned me onto Brad Paisley back in the 90s. There was also a point in the concert where he gifted one of his guitars to a young fan in front of the stage. And later he traveled up through the crowd to play behind us for the people out on the lawn. He was so involved with the audience and so appreciative, it was one of the best concerts I have ever seen and certainly an amazing first time seeing him. And his performance of "Remind Me" with Carrie Underwood's hologram was really neat to see too. I highly recommend seeing Brad Paisley in concert! You will not be disappointed!
One of America's most celebrated country stars Brad Paisley is an engaging and dedicated live performer. Brad has had an incredibly successful career on the US country charts and has been awarded numerous Grammy awards and Country Music awards so picking a setlist for a tour is a difficult process.
From the sound of applause and cheers as he appears though one gets the impression any choice will be a delight to his dedicated fan base. He begins with a brilliant rendition of 'Mountain Dew' supported by his tight backing band who he jams with throughout. Shortly following this with a string of hit singles in rapid succession including 'The World', 'Mud on the Tires' and 'Ticks'.
Selecting both the hits and some of Paisley and his band's favourite tracks to play live, the audience are enthusiastic throughout as they are treated to a selection of his best country works. Brad is an endearing performer who seems genuinely happy to be playing to such warm crowds and adores the affection as he resonates it back through his music.
As usual Brad didn't disappoint his fans. He put on an awesome show and was even more special by sharing the night with my lovely daughter. I hope she enjoyed the time we spent together as much as I did as I never got to do fun things with my mother since she passed away from cancer at the young age of 44 and 10 days before the birth of my son which would have been her first grandchild! I took her to her first country music fest and concert and she is enjoying many of them but with her friends as mom has slowed down and not the party animal anymore. What I like about Brad's shows is he appeals to a wide variety of people and ages. In my book he is getting better the longer he does them and the videos are great! Hope to see more of them in the future and hopefully we can take the granddaughters someday!
We have seen Brad in the past and last. Ugh this was no exception to a great show! He always brings the party with him. Brad Rios on his guitars but his warm up bands also got the crowd going. Brad moves around a lot bringing the crowd into his show. He moves around the entire venue so everyone has a chance for an up front experience
Brad embraces the crowds desires for pics and selfies and posses as he plays. As is his tradition he gives a guitar to a child in the stands and he did that last night
The show had the same energy as shows past but had a new feel to it. He was "crushin' it".
This concert was the best concert of the season. I have to say this but he was better than Luke Bryan. He interacted with the audience way more than every other cencert i have been to. He walked in the audience (right in front of me). It was so amazing I loved it. He facetimed Carrie Underwood, but im not sure if it was real or fake. It was definitely the most amazing concert I have ever been to! He gave like 4 gutars to the fans and a jersy then his hat. I was very pleased with how it ended up. It was defenatly worth the money. I would defenatly recomend this concet.
Brad ripped with the crowd at Shoreline! On our feet from the first lick and it kept going. He wondered the venue through his sets and took time the engage the audience. Gave away 2 guitars and his hat during the evening. As always Carrie Underwood joined him electronically. The show had a lot of energy but the crowd picked it up to a fever pitch with Crushing It.
Opener Justine Moore keeps improving over the years. He had the crowd with him as he paid a tribute to the U.S. Troops. Justine later joined Brad in one of Brad's songs.
Brad put on a fantastic concert. My husband who hates concerts but has become my country concert buddy was very impressed with him, as he was with Kenny Chesney. Brad never leaves without you realizing he has put his fans first. AND he does realize that we his fans are as important to him as he is to us.
I am happy to say he is coming back again in the summer and it is not when I am out of town for KC concerts...Yaaa
And thank you for sharing your talent with us.
It’s the first time I’ve been to see Brad Paisley. I expected a good show, but it really was fantastic. Exceeded all my expectations. Brad is a natural entertainer and has the audience captivated from
Start to finish. He was so appreciative of his audience. And Keith Urban as a surprise guest??! Just wow! I had a great night and can’t wait for him to come back to London again. I’ll definitely be buying tickets.
Sheer brilliance. From the second Brad bounded on stage the energy was amazing, he had the whole crowd on their feet dancing and singing along to every song. I would definitely recommend and can't wait until he's back in the UK so I can see him again. Oh and the icing on the cake Keith Urban made a surprise appearance to jam with him. Probably one of the best shows I've ever seen. Can't rate him high enough.
Awesome, Wonderful, Amazing, Fantastic! Brad Paisley is a great entertainer. He made personalized the concert to Dekalb . He slipped "Dekalb" and the " NIU Huskies" into a couple songs and included them into the videos also. The Swon Brothers and Parmalee were great also. They were all great!
