Duh! It was Excellent!

Excellent is an understatement. This was his 1st appearance in Austin. The crowd wasn't huge, but those who knew his "stuff," definitely knew him.

Such a well-controlled Bluegrass-centric singing voice. But wait. I love bluegrass. His compositions are well crafted poetics with interesting chord changes behind them.

He's a master. He's my reference for how well I write, or try to write my songs.

He was entertainment to the max! He was even kind by taking suggestions from audience members, and even made sure that he'd played them all! In short, it was a treat of a concert experience.
