The band were founded by already award-winning composer, singer and producer Mario Domm, who had started his music career 15 years prior, having written hits for major label artists such as OV 7, X-Magneto, El Circulo and Edel Juárez. Uniting with his friends Pablo Hurtado and Samuel "Samo" Parra, the band signed a record contract with Sony Music, releasing their first album in 2006, titled "Todo Cambió. Their single from the album, "Abrazame" was a huge hit, making big waves in Billboard's Latin Chart.
Further singles followed, including "Coleccionista de Canciones," "Sin Tu Amor" and "Yo Quiero." The album was a huge success, receiving a number of awards and nominations for their efforts. They received a Latin Grammy Award nomination for Song of the Year 2007 and won awards at the Premios Lo Nuestro 2008 for Best Song Award and Group or Duo of the Year Award. They also won best group/duo in the Latin Billboard Music Awards.
They released their second album, "Dejarte de Amar" in 2010, which brought them further success and popularity throughout Latin America. These records gained Diamond and Platinum certification, selling more than two million albums world wide. In 2010, they won three Latin Grammy Awards, including Record of the Year and Album of the Year.
Mario Domm is definitely responsible for much of the band's success, being the chief songwriter and creative source. However the two musicians bring fresh and original ideas to Domm's talent for penning catchy pop tunes. Their music is a blend of Latin pop with an rock edge to it.

Hailing from Mexico City, Camila are another band continuing the trend for Latin rock groups to find crossover success in the United States; their lyrics might be largely in Spanish and there’s little suggestions of traditional Mexican sounds in their work, but for the most part, their soft rock aesthetic is something that they’ve plucked from an altogether more obviously American sound. This twist, though, hasn’t gone without endowing serious success up on the duo - currently comprised of Mario Domm and Pablo Hurtado - and key to their rise has been their live shows, in which the crucial component is the interaction between Domm and the group’s legions of adoring fans. They’re instrumentally tight, with an expanded live lineup backing Hurtado on guitar, but it’s the close bond between group and audience when they’re performing album-faithful versions of hits including ‘Mientes’ and ‘Alejate de Mi’ that’s taken the band to some of the most iconic venues in North America - with their latest record, Elypse, dropping this past June, that’s something that’s surely only set to continue.
Mario Domm and Pablo Hurtado are best known by their devoted fanbase as Mexican pop-rock outfit Camila. Their albums have performed well commercially in most Spanish speaking countries around the globe which has given the duo the chance to tour around and take their sounds to their loyal following.
They are one of the most enthusiastic performers and look genuinely happy throughout all of their performances, some bands allow the fatigue and stress of touring to affect their show yet for Camila it appears they are well and truly living the dream. These good vibes are translated to the audience who dance and sing along to the latino vibes of 'Panal'. They vary between moving around stage to really enthuse the adoring crowds to slowing pace and allowing vocals to shine beneath a single spotlight. It does not matter how they present their music, the passion is consistently evident and they are a joy to watch perform.
Camila was just absolutely incredible. They made me laugh, cry, and dance. They engaged with their audience and gave so much credit to their backup band and backup singers. The music was amazing, and the lights and visuals were really cool. The show was unforgettable!!! It was hands down the best night of my life.
Amazing show!!! The whole audience was singing along and the backup singers and band were fantastic. Although I don't speak Spanish I have been a fan for years and I was not disappointed. They are so original and it was a huge thrill to see Mario and Pablo perform live. I hope they come back soon!!!

Awesome energy, loved the vibe of the night. Both Camila and Sin Bandera were so good. The venue was good, parking easy, beer too expensive... Both bands covered their hits, we loved it!
Great as expected.would of been perfect if the SHOW actuallystartd at 8:00 pm and not 8:45 as it did.some of us had to work next day.but other than that greatly executed.
