Mother's Finest

Mother's Finest are you mothers finest funk band. Funking out of America back in 1970's, the group are soul catchers in the funk scene. They trap your soul and twist and turn it into a funky machine pumping along to the sounds of the expressive jazz funk coming to you live from Mother's Finest.

Funk live is nothing better, hence why many house sets now include disco/funk beats and hooks because it draws in the crowd and creates a happy feel good atmosphere. The voice of Joyce Baby Jean Kennedy is so moving and touching it brings the house down in just one simple note. The band all come together with their instruments and perform remarkable sets. They deliver you the best hits like 'Baby Love,' 'I Can't Believe,' and 'Love Changes,' being just a few to name, I could name more.

They are touring Germany extensively so any German fans of funk and soul, put down your German sausages and buy a ticket whilst the rest of us have to wait for them to hopefully tour near us. I personally am hoping for a gig in London somewhere, that would be ideal!

There are only 2 artists I'd be willing to pay repeatedly to see...Prince and Mother's Finest. Saw Prince (R.I.P.) once during the Musicology tour. I've been fortunate to see Mother's Finest perform live 3 times. Once in Columbia S.C. during the 70s, and more recently at the Birchmere in Alexandria VA. The fact that I look forward to see them again confirms (at least in my eyes) that attending a Mother's Finest performance is a funky good time.

The show was amazing. Have seen them before and they did not disappoint. We bought VIP tickets this time to this venue and was sadly let down. There were not enough tables and chairs for the tickets they sold and could not see the stage at all from behind the people who had the seats so we had to go back down to the floor. Will not ever buy anything other than GA tickets again. Waste of money.

Seen them at the Foundry in Athens twice. They are AWESOME! Up close and personal and they play all of their hits. Worth the money every time! A great line up of musicians. They have been playing together since the 70’s! Their son is now the drummer! He is fantastic! Go see them and you will want to go see them again and again and again!

Awesome performance sound was great lights was great security was great crowd was great!!! The venue was wrong,I drove from Charlotte to Atlanta and I did not want to sit down..That was the only issue I had but MP made me forget all of that!

Great party, great show.
Even people under 30 had fun and danced! MF were looking younger than ever! The band seemed to have fun, too. They also played the hits from the legendary live album from 1978!

I've been to HUNDREDS of concerts since the 60's and MOTHERS FINEST is DEFINITELY one of the BEST live Bands I've Ever seen! Saw them 3 times in the late 70's and 80's...AWESOME!!!
